Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains the cancellation, refund and transfer options that apply to bookings for the North of England FRCS Viva Course.

1. Scope
This policy applies to all bookings made for North of England FRCS Viva / Mock Course places, whether booked via our online registration form, by email, or by any other method. By registering for a course, you agree to the terms set out below.
2. Cancelling your place
If you are unable to attend a course you have booked, please notify us in writing by email as soon as possible. Refunds are calculated based on the amount of notice given before the course start date, as set out below.

Where applicable, refunds will be processed within 10 working days.
3. Transfers
Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your booking free of charge to:
- A future running of the course, subject to availability; or
- Another named candidate, provided we are notified of the substitute’s details in writing before the course date.
Transfers do not incur the administration fee that applies to cancellations and are subject to availability and reasonable notice.
4. How to request a cancellation or transfer
Please email your request, including your name, the course date booked, and whether you are requesting a refund or a transfer.

We will confirm receipt and process your request within 10 working days.
5. Course cancellation or postponement by the organisers
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel or postpone a course — for example, due to insufficient numbers, faculty unavailability, or circumstances beyond our control, including illness, adverse weather, venue unavailability, or other events outside our reasonable control.
In this event, we will notify all booked candidates as soon as possible and offer either:
- A full refund of all course fees paid; or
- A free transfer to the next available course date.
Please note: We are not responsible for any other costs or losses incurred by candidates as a result of a course cancellation or postponement, including travel or accommodation costs. We recommend candidates consider this when making independent travel arrangements.
6. Non-attendance
Candidates who do not attend a course without prior notice (“no-shows”) are not entitled to a refund or transfer.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
